Vaccination is the strongest defence against the spread of Covid-19 in our communities. With a full slate of Ross County Fair activities and attendant crowds returning this week after a one-year hiatus in 2020 due to the virus, having easy access to that defence is critical. Adena Health System and the Ross County Health District are working together to provide free vaccines to fairgoers.
From 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday (Aug. 11) and Friday (Aug. 13), Adena will provide the one-dose Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine to persons 18 and older at a booth in the northwest corner of the Multipurpose Building at the Ross County Fairgrounds. The Ross County Health District will administer the Pfizer vaccine to children aged 12 to 17 from 12 to 4 p.m. Thursday for parents who wish to have their children vaccinated (Aug. 12).
